Eid
To celebrate or not to celebrate
Eid is upon us and after the 7 aid worker incident in rafah
the Israeli troops have withdrawn from Khan younis after the torturing and
continuous bombardment of civilians and
innocent people.
The kids in southern parts of Gaza are very relieved and
they are deseprate for moments of peace and tranquility.
Eid comes after Ramadan where people celebrate the end of the
fasting month, I still feel bad for eating when I know that people of the north of Gaza are facing a famine and
that makes me wonder if I really want to celebrate anything at all this year
because of the many innocent lives that have been slaughtered during this
ongoing genocide. I just don’t trust Israeli troops as they feel like they are
going to invade again at any time. They are full of revenage and hate and they
wont stop erasing our identity until its actually gone.
I went for a bit of a walk with my friend Anandi and she
took me to the park where ive gathered my thoughts and my partner Anthony took
me for lunch and they are both willing to help me edit my blog and make it even
better and getting it distributed so that I can carry on writing about my
personal story and so that people can learn whats happening. Let the genocide
stop and peace prevail as it’s a just cause and there’s only one right side in
history. It just baffles me that every minute we remain silent that Israeli troops
kill more cvilians.
