Eid continues, Genocide continues

Under international law, Israel has the right to defend
itself and we have the right to resist
occupation and Israeli aggression. This is what I have been trying to
get my head around for some time, we as Palestinians have exhausted our peaceful
options of demonstrations and of humanitarian talks with Israel. We have done
so much to try and demonstrate that our cause is legitimate and just. We are
trying so hard to just live like everyone else under exceptional circumstances
and if there is life there is hope and we will not give up and we will carry on
until our voices are heard. Today I had a very insightful interview with susan
piper and her friend Khaled , Susan was wanting me to translate what Khaled has
been saying to her so I jumped on the zoom call after having watched the film
that Susan sent me , it was about khaled’s visit to France with the Palestinian
amputee foot ball team where they have trained in playing football. The Palestinian
amputee team have lost their limbs due to Israeli aggression in previous
assaults by the IDF , and I repeat this struggle has been going on for a long
time where Palestinian people are faced with dire challenges and they still
carry on dreaming of peace and justice in their communities, which is very
resilient and extremely inspiring which holds hope and peace for the future of
our Palestinian cause.

Ra and Basma came for a quick visit with Cyrus and Sedna then me
and my mum accompanied my brother Mohammed and his friend to a dinner in Bradford where
we enjoyed the company of Palestinian families that are enjoying their Eid with
their kids.
